Spring, summer and autumn

From a very long time I’ve been aching to write a compelling picture story but lack of relevant photographs and a story line denied me this opportunity, until of late, when I was traipsing around some old and new photos and read Christopher Anderson’s photo book ‘Son’, I realised that I could even try to do the same with my photo archives.

‘Spring, summer and autumn’ deals with the passage of time, and the two phases of life where a man is equal in stature in both, but in one has someone to guide him while in other he is just alone in the long lost road of life, with forgotten aims and ailing body.

Learning the first game
Born to run, to explore
Only good at being young
Time…won’t someone stop this train?
One generation’s length away from fighting life out on his own
My maternal-grandfather (Nana), onlooking, as a hip fracture restricts him to his house’s premises.
Nana seeing sister for the first time in six years.
Born to run, to explore, now jailed.
Time of the life…passing moments
